Keller Engineers’ Certified Bridge Safety Inspectors (CBSI) perform bridge safety inspections and prepare detailed reports for all types of motor vehicle, pedestrian, and railroad bridges; and dams. All inspections meet National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) requirements.
All of our experienced, full-time bridge safety inspectors hold CBSI certifications and receive continuous training. Each crew is equipped with computers, photography equipment, and all field supplies necessary to perform inspection, analysis, and testing of all major bridge components. Additionally, we advise the owner of required improvements, provide a maintenance schedule, and assist in the compilation of annual budgets.
Clients include the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), counties, municipalities, railroads, trail organizations, and private owners. Routine inspections occur every two years; however, we perform an in-depth, damage, or specialized assessments when requested.Project Photos: (click on thumbnails to view larger images)
