Construction Management and Inspection

Keller Engineers’ experienced crews offer complete Construction Management and Construction Inspection (CM/CI) services to private and municipal clients, including the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). The scope of our services includes roadway, bridge, and railroad bridge construction management/inspection.

Our multi-diciplined Construction Managers and Inspectors work directly with the contractor to institute a team approach through coordinating participation by the owner, engineer, funding agencies, and review agencies. During construction, they monitor progress to ensure the project is being completed in full compliance with regulatory procedures, technical specifications, quality control measures, record keeping, project schedule, etc.

Keller Engineers’ professional Inspectors are certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), the Northeast Center for Excellence in Paving Technology (NECEPT), the American Concrete Institute (ACI), and the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS). Additionally, they are trained in accordance with both PennDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirements, including PennDOT’s Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS) and Construction Documentation System (CDS NeXtGEN). Our Inspectors receive annual training to maintain their certifications and they attend PennDOT’s Winter Construction Schools to keep current on construction specifications and new construction materials, as well as new material sampling and testing procedures.
