Project Details

This project involved rehabilitating 1.37 miles of existing Puddintown Road and 1.30 miles of Houserville Road.

The scope of work on Puddintown Road included replacing drainage facilities, guiderail replacement and adjustments, total reconstruction of the Lenor Drive intersection to correct sight distance, waterline relocation, Cold In-Place Asphalt Pavement rehabilitation, and asphalt overlay.

The scope of work on Houserville Road included replacing drainage facilities, guiderail replacement and adjustments, replacement of 42”x72” CMP near intersection with SR 26, waterline relocation, and asphalt overlay. Also included was the reconfiguration of the SR 26 southbound to westbound Houserville Road movement to remove the high-speed fly lane to facilitate a future shared use path in this quadrant of the intersection.

Utility involvement on this project included:

  • Relocation of 430’ of waterline along Puddintown Road with associated mainline piping, valves and service lines
  • Relocation of light poles with associated underground conduit and wiring
  • Relocation of signals with associated underground conduit and wiring
  • Relocation of 1000’ of waterline along Houserville Road with associated mainline piping, valves, service lines and hydrants
